Easy naan bread from simple ingredients - soft and fluffy and chewy at the same time.
In a large bowl, add warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes until you see it bubbling.
Add olive oil, yogurt, egg, salt, and 2 1/2 cups of flour.
Mix it well, and knead a few times on a floured counter until smooth.
Place dough in a greased bowl. Cover it and let it rise in a warm place until doubled. (about 45 minutes to an hour)
Warm-up a frying pan at medium heat.
Cut the dough into 6 pieces. On a floured surface, roll out each piece into about 6" oval shape.
Add a bit of oil or cooking spray to the pan. Cook each one for 2-3 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on the bottom.
Flip the naan, cook it for another 2-3 minutes.
Place the naan on a large plate, and brush the top with melted butter.
